Doors are pleased to announce the installation of a new 'state-of-the-art'
waste to energy plant, which we expect to be running by the end of
the summer.
The plant will burn MDF offcuts and dust to raise steam which will be used for space heating and the generation of electricity. When completed the plant should provide 50kW of electricity for use in the company's production process and dispose of all its MDF waste. The pictures show the installation, including the storage silo, combustion unit, and waste heat boiler. |
